All of our 1-Wire® masters provide an ASCII interface to Dallas 1-Wire or Fox-Bus networks. Link products come in several variations and are all microcontroller based replacements for the Dallas DS9097U-09, providing increased reliability and performance, particularly on large, complex 1-Wire networks. Link products use an advanced bus interface and intellegent algorithms to make 1-Wire communications more reliable at short and long distances. The algorithms and interface for the Link were originally developed at Dallas Semiconductor, assuring the end user of compatibility with TMEX and iButton Viewer software.
All Link products are firmware upgradeable as new software versions become available. Products returned to the factory for upgrade will incur a $10.00 fee plus shipping costs.
