The DS1922E-F5# Thermochron is an iButton that contains a complete temperature logging system. This is a reliable, flexible, and low-cost data logger for temperature readings with excellent battery life.
The DS1922E-F5# is a high resolution Thermochron focused on high temperature applications. The DS1922E is excellent for applications monitoring high temperature processes where the critical issues are above the boiling point of water. If your application doesn't fit this description, please check out the Thermochron and Hygrochron parameter table to find the right data logger for you.
The DS1922E-F5# is calibrated against a NIST traceable source. You may download a NIST traceable certificate for any DS1922E-F5# purchased from iButtonLink from the Maxim Web Site. A sample certificate is available. More information is available in the iButton® Data-Logger Calibration and NIST Certificate FAQs.
If the Maxim Integrated certificate is not sufficient for your needs, iButtonLink also works with an NVLAP accredited lab that can provide customized levels of calibration, such as in this sample certificate.

Types of Thermochrons and Hygrochrons
Thermochron models vary in the following ways:
- The operating temperature range.
- The amount of memory available for storing data.
- The accuracy of the temperature reading.
