Description

About the DS1922E-F5# iButton

The DS1922E-F5# is a high-resolution iButton® focused on high temperature applications, containing a complete temperature logging system. This is a reliable, flexible, and low-cost data logger with excellent battery life. The DS1922E-F5# is excellent for monitoring high temperature processes where the critical issues are above the boiling point of water.

The temperature range of this product is +15°C to 140°C, with an accuracy of ±1.5°C in the range of 110°C to +140°C and a typical accuracy of ±7°C in the range of 15°C to 110°C. The DS1922E-F5# has a programmable resolution of 0.5°C for 8 bit, and 0.0625°C for 11 bit. The 8 bit can read up to 8192 values at a logging rate of 1 second to 273 hours, while the 11 bit can read up to 4066 values at the same logging rate. Information the battery life can be found in the DS1922E-F5# data sheet.

The DS1922E-F5# is calibrated against a NIST traceable source. A NIST traceable certificate for any DS1922E-F5# purchased from iButtonLink is available for download on the Maxim website. A sample certificate can be seen here. Please see the iButton® Data-Logger Calibration and NIST Certificate FAQs for more information.

Calibration

This product comes with a Maxim Integrated certificate rated to 0.5 °C. If you are using our iButtons for an application where you need a more accurate reading around a specific range of points, we suggest adding our 3-Point Accredited Temperature Calibration. When you choose our calibrated iButtons, they will become part of a chain of traceability back to the National Institute of Standards and Technology. What does this mean for you?

  • Calibrated to industry leading .02°C Uncertainty
  • Proven accuracy
  • Verified equipment quality
  • Compliance with medical standards

Thermochron models vary in the operating temperature range, the amount of memory available for storage, and the accuracy of the temperature reading. Please check out the table below for comparisons with other iButton models, as well as our Thermochron and Hygrochron page for more information.
