Description

About the DS1922T-F5# iButton

The DS1922T-F5# is a high-resolution iButton® focused on high-temperature applications, containing a complete temperature logging system. This is a reliable, flexible, and low-cost data logger with excellent battery life. The DS1922T-F5# is excellent for monitoring high-temperature processes.

The temperature range of this device is 0°C to +125°C with an accuracy of ±0.5°C in the range of +20°C to +75°C after software correction. The DS1922T-F5# has a programmable resolution of 0.5°C for 8 bit, and 0.0625°C for 11 bit. The device can read up to 8192 values with a logging rate of 1 second to 272 hours for the 8-bit, and can read up to 4096 values with the same logging rate. Battery life information can be found in the DS1922T-F5# data sheet.

The DS1922T-F5# is calibrated against a NIST traceable source. A NIST traceable certificate for any DS1922T-F5# purchased from iButtonLink is available for download on the Maxim website. A sample certificate can be seen here. Please see the iButton® Data-Logger Calibration and NIST Certificate FAQs for more information.

Calibration

This product comes with a Maxim Integrated certificate rated to 0.5 °C. If you are using our iButtons for an application where you need a more accurate reading around a specific range of points, we suggest adding our 3-Point Accredited Temperature Calibration. When you choose our calibrated iButtons, they will become part of a chain of traceability back to the National Institute of Standards and Technology. What does this mean for you?

  • Calibrated to industry leading .02°C Uncertainty
  • Proven accuracy
  • Verified equipment quality
  • Compliance with medical standards

Thermochron models vary in the operating temperature range, the amount of memory available for storage, and the accuracy of the temperature reading. Please check out the table below for comparisons with other iButton models, as well as our Thermochron and Hygrochron page for more information.
