The Walworth County Economic Development Alliance (WCEDA) presented iButtonLink, LLC with the 2015 Business Innovation Award at WCEDA's Annual Meeting on November 12th, 2015. iButtonLink was the chosen finalist selected from a pool of nominated businesses in Walworth County based on the criteria of performance and growth, use of technology, competitiveness, employee satisfaction and community involvement. 

Derek D' Auria, Executive Director of WCEDA, presented the award to iButtonLink citing their work with students and staff from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater as an innovative collaboration and worthy of the 2015 Innovative Business Award.  iButtonLink has employed over 15 student interns since relocating to the Innovation Center in Whitewater, WI in December of 2013.  The nomination for iButtonLink also included the innovative work with IBM Research along with the release of Measurement and Management Technology, Corrosion Monitoring and low-power wireless BlueMotes.
